Defrost system

Defrost drain

Ice maker
The dispenser runs but nothing comes out, or the cubes are thin shells. The fill tube is frozen, the water inlet valve has failed, or the ice maker module itself is burnt out. All three feel identical from outside the door, which is why guessing at parts gets expensive fast.

Close the door on a bill. If it slides out with no resistance, the gasket is leaking cold air and the compressor is working overtime.
